My Budget 4K TVBuild

Hey all-

If you’ve seen my YouTube video on it – you’ll know I built a “small” budget 4K TV PC build. I tried to get this kind of as cheap as possible and used a few bundles/deals to get here- so feel free to change some things around. The main thing I’d hammer though – try and keep that graphics card if possible.

At 4K gaming, the games are often more graphics card dependent due to the amount of pixels at 4K. So, if there’s anything you cheap out on, don’t do the GPU!

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7500X3D
  • RAM: 16GB
  • STORAGE: 512 GB M. Drive (the price was insane for this, so only 512 GB right now lol)
    • My thinking was, if its just a TV console, you probably can get away with less storage in this economy.
  • GRAPHICS CARD: AMD PowerColor Reaper 9070 XT (THE KING!)
    • I got this at MicroCenter for $650, the price seems to fluctuate but this one seems to be the cheapest model with fluctuating prices.
    • NewEgg Pricing
    • Amazon Pricing (This is a different model, but appears to be a cheaper model from a different brand. ASRock is a good quality AMD brand and I would recommend them without problems.)

What Does This Build Get You?

In my experience, this build is just solid for playing most games at high settings at native 4K on a TV getting around 30-60 FPS. This has been nothing but a solid build for me.
